Also regarded as one of the most romantic cities in the world, Udaipur has been called the ‘Venice of the East.' Its beauty has also made it the chosen location for the setting of numerous movies, including Darjeeling Limited and the James Bond flick – Octopussy. Like the rest of Rajasthan, Udaipur is sprinkled with dazzling colors, and you can see these colors in the people’s clothing, the lively markets and the numerous fairs and festivals. The town is known for its jewelry, fabrics, handicrafts, wooden toys, miniature paintings, and antique objects.
