Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

1Day 1 : Arrive Chandigarh – Shimla
On arrival at Chandigarh Airport / Railway station, you will be transfer to Shimla, the former summer capital of British India and now capital of Himachal Pradesh. Set amidst the snow capped Shivalik mountain ranges it offers some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Shimla.

2Day 2 : Shimla- Excursion to Kufri, Half Day City Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast, proceed to half day excursion of Kufri. It's a small picturesque hill station that offers stunning views, beautiful locales and serene ambience. Visit Indira Tourist Park at Chini Bunglow & Himalayan Wildlife Zoo. In the afternoon return back to Shimla and later proceed for half day sightseeing tour of ‘City beautiful’ covering Jakhoo temple, Himachal State Museum & Library and Indian Institute of Advance studies (IIAS). Later in the evening visit to Christ Church, Scandal Corner, Mall road & Ridge. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Shimla.

3Day 3 : Shimla- Half Day City Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Manali. Manali is located in the ancient Kullu valley, surrounded by towering peaks at an arms length. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, proceed for half day city sightseeing of Manali. Visit the 450years old Hadimba Devi Temple the oldest temple in Manali, Club House (On your Own), Tibetan monastery and Vashisht village, known for its hot Sulphur springs. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Manali.

4Day 4 : Manali- Excursion to Rohtang and Solang Valley or Sissu Lake via Atal Tunnel
Today morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Rohtang pass (Up to Snow Line during winter / due heavy snowfall), which simply offers panoramic views of mountains rising far above the clouds. Later in the afternoon visit Solang Valley (a famous picnic spot & ski resort in winter). Enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding (in winters), Rope way ride and paragliding (On your own). Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Manali. (Rohtang pass visit is not included. As we have to secure a permit which is only issued a day prior to the day of visit and same will be subject to availability.) OR Today morning after breakfast drive to Sissu (Approx. 40kms / 1hr 30mins) via Atal Tunnel (Approx. 28kms / 1hr 15minutes). Atal Tunnel is also known as Rohtang Tunnel is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway in Himachal Pradesh. At a length of 9.02km, it is the longest tunnel above 10,000feet (3,048m) in the world and isnamed after former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihar Vajpayee. Later continue your drive to Sissu (10,235ft). Visit Sissu Lake, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Manali.

5Day 5 : Manali- Naggar Excursion, Half Day City Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for half day excursion to the Naggar. Visit Naggar Castle and Roriech Art Gallery. Later in the afternoon proceed for half day city sightseeing of Manali, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, dedicated to Hadimba devi the wife of Bhim, the oldest temple in Manali. Later visit Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day (On your own) and also visit Tibetan monastery and Vashisht village (known for its hot Sulpher springs). There are old temples dedicated to sage Vashisht and Lord Rama. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Manali.

6Day 6 : Manali- Dharamshala
Today morning after breakfast proceed towards Dharamshala. Dharamshala also known as little Lahsa, has been the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama, the leader of the Tibetans, since 1960. On arrival check-in at the hotel, rest of the day is free for leisure to explore on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Dharamshala.

7Day 7 : Dharamshala- Dharamshala Half Day City Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast proceed for half day city sightseeing visit Mcleodganj, Dal Lake, Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsu Nag and Naddi. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Dharamshala.

8Day 8 : Depart Dharamshala- Pathankot / Amritsar
